...is a home to approximately forty children. Our church, Centered In Christ Ministries, heard the facility was raising the children with Christian values. They were having many problems with their landlord. We found that a generous man stepped up and bought them a beautiful plot of land. We as a church, made a decision to send monthly donations to supply their needs for food.
Their Story
We began to pray and were lead to immediately invest in building. They had very specific plans that had the material cost and estimated time lines of each phase. We shared in their vision and have been impressed that everything we've sent building funds for, we received a video of the work.

Another very beautiful thing happened as we grew closer with the orphanage and Robert Kakooka, we always try to make the holidays special to share the love of God. Well, so do they. On these occassions the orpanage invites widowers to their celebrations and those of the community who are in need. So the spirit of God and the love of God is shinning bright in Uganda.
Well, we’ve all witnessed the struggles of our economy here in America and how it’s affected charitable giving. But I have to bring to our rememberance the living word promises; “Give and it will be given back to you.” We are blessed because the children watch our You Tube channel and we’ve even talked about building a sister church there.

God has truly blessed our small church for the generousity, the heart of giving as we do our best to exemplify Christ. A very cute story that happened really touched me. I had mentioned we were recording Christian songs and maybe the children could sing a chorus. Shortly after that we received a video of the children praising God with their hands in the air and they all had an empty water bottle attached to a stick like a mic stand and microphone. The children’s hearts were shinning through.

The Orphaned Children Charity Uganda have gardens, a chicken business and a safe haven not only for those kids that are there right now, but for all those who will come in the future. It’s a very worthy cause and you would be doing something bigger that just ourselves.
So please pray and know every dollar counts and goes towards school supplies, clothes and food. Any and all of their needs take people like us to be obediant.
